We will worship in the Sanctuary.

Our office hours are 8:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and closed Friday and Saturday. If you are in need of entry to the church beyond these hours, please call ahead and arrangements will be made.

Highlights
FALL PLANNING DINNER
Our Church cabinet will meet on Wednesday, August 6, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The purpose of this gathering will involve the development of our church fall program through Christmas. The night’s agenda will begin with a light meal and fellowship. Church planning calendars have been purchased for all cabinet members and we are hopeful that all High Street Cabinet Members are able to attend this important ministry event.

HABITAT LUNCH
We are helping out again!!! Our HVB volunteers will be working at 418 Cole Ave., Akron beginning August 8. The Missions Ministry will be serving lunch to the workers on Wednesday, August 13. If you would like to help contact Ted or Liz Iler. Food donations are also needed. If you have a group that would like to volunteer a morning snack or a lunch to the workers please contact the church office.

HARRY SMITH CLASS PICNIC
The Harry E. Smith Annual picnic at Kathy Riley’s house will be Friday, August 22. The address is 533 Baldwin Heights Cir., Howard, OH. We will be serving lunch at 1:00 pm. Please R.S.V.P. to Noel or Carol Walters. If you need transportation arrangements can be made.

PEDAL & PADDLE
All Special Ministries members are welcome and encouraged to attend this great event on Friday, August 15. We will meet at the church at 7:00 am and head to Massillon. We will bike 3 miles upriver and then canoe 3 miles back down river. We will have lunch at the deli. Be sure to bring $10-$15 for lunch and if you have bike helmet be sure to bring that also. We will return to the church at 3:00 pm. When we get close to the church the kids will give the parents a call.

CONCERT EVENT AT NEW HORIZONS
The Gospel River Boys will be touring through the Akron area on Sunday, August 3 at New Horizons Christian Church, 290 Darrow Rd. They will have two presentations, 8:30 am & 10:30 am. The group sings a variety of original southern gospel songs as well as some current and classic hits. Join with others for a concert of praise.
